CURRICULUM VITAE

Monika Szkultecka-Debek

Monika Szkultecka-Debek has medical education and is post graduated Health Economics. Her doctoral dissertation in the field of health economics was defended in 2007 at the Medical University in Poznan. She is member of the Polish Pharmacoeconomic Society, being active member of Health Related Quality of Life Section and secretary of Drug Programs, Pharmaceutical Care and Pharmaceutical Law section. Active member of CEE Publication Network within ISPOR. With over twenty years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry initially she focused her work on clinical research, and then on HTA, health economics and outcomes research, Quality of Life and the area related to real world data and market access. Contributed to a number of international conferences as speaker, organized and delivered international trainings on HTA, RWD and QoL. Participated in the organization and then delivered workshops dedicated to Statistical Methods in Healthcare Analyses at Health Economics and Big Data Studies (HEBDA) Master Studies at Kozminski University in Warsaw. She is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications including the QoL English – Polish Dictionary, Polish ISPOR Chapter Pricing and Reimbursement Dictionary, Polish QoL Lexicon, chapters in students books related to: QoL and RWD. Authored/coauthored publications related to QoL, RWD and HTA. She has a long history as a reviewer in several specialist journals, incl. JHPOR and ViHRI. Until 2017 member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of Health Policy and Outcomes Research (JHPOR) and from 2017 until present Deputy Editor in Chief of the Journal of Health Policy and Outcomes Research (JHPOR).
